Gotta love BBC comedy. Found a new show called "The Kumars at no. 42" lately and its quite funny. Also got my hands on 3 more Eddie Izzard DVDs which are good as well. I had a lot of time to look around the last 2 weeks after my surgery....
The ability to swallow normally is something I have certainly taken for granted. My surgery was 2 days ago and swallowing even sips of water is a challenge. The combo of pain and a change in anatomy makes it very difficult to do smoothly. The good news is that I can breathe better... which is nice.
Tried to eat some mashed potatoes last night, which was a real big challenge.
Other than that, I look forward to my first kilt-wearing episode. 2 weeks and counting...
