I'm an addict

So when Anh finally got all her stuff out of my house, it included the 32 inch TV. So I have been living off my little 20" that I got when in San Diego. I'm thinking about not getting another TV anytime soon. Then last Sunday I wake up at 9 am (after 4 1/2 hours sleep) to watch football and the TV is all blue. First I thought it was the cable, then the thing died completely. I was in a panic. I actually felt my heart race at the thought of not being able to watch the games. And the Raiders weren't even playing! What a loser I am!
Don't worry, I had a smaller TV in the office that I hooked up! Yipee!!!!

Go Bears

I went to the "Big Smoke 2004" this weekend. Lots of cigar companies showing off their stuff. One of them offered a chance to meet Dick Butkus and take a picture. Kinda weird to stand in line to meet some guy, but my friend Dan is from Chicago so we did. We were like the last ones also. When we got up there he was really nice. We talked for a minute, signed a few things and took a picture. It was actually kinda cool...

Poker woes

So I play poker with a group of friends, and I have always done well. A few months back we begaan taking pictures of each winner like a hall of fame. Soon someone noticed I had not won since the pictures began. Plenty of 2nd and 3rds but no first. Every time we play people no tell me that they are rooting for me to win. It's like I don't know how to play and they are taking it easy on me. This drives me crazy. So a few days ago we are playing and I am doing very well (chip lead) and suddenly I bet everything against a guy I KNOW has a good hand, and I have nothing. A table of 10 and we were down to the last 3 people. I was dominating and I handed him my chips. This has actually been eating at me for 3-4 days now. Its as if I have lost the ability to win.
Nah... the luck of the Irish is sure to return...

Bowing to pressure

A little strong arming after my last blog by 2 female relatives. There actually was no cake. I learned that I like dirty martinis much better if made with Gin instead of vodka (Beefeaters appears to be the favorite). No tomfoolery occurred during the weekend, but I did get a kiss from a young woman.
There is no future there...but that's another story all together....

Birthday weekend

Had some friends in town for my B-day. Went out to dinner, played (and lost) in the casino. all in all a good time. I was supposed to be in court this morning for the case against the drunk driver who rear ended me, but I guess it got dropped. Oh well... I hope he's locked up...

M T house

So my ex girlfriend took back her furniture. No I live in a nice, empty home. She even took the salt and pepper! And it was mine! Oh well, good riddance... I am now painting the inside. Making a fresh start you might say.

PS - Are all women crazy? Or do I just find all the crazy ones? Or...do I make them that way?
