Woke up. Got out of bed. Dragged a comb across my head. Found my way to the kitchen, had a cuppa. Looking uppa I wasn't late for anything.
Found my mittens, grabbed my hat. In the snow in seconds flat. Found my way indoors and somebody woke. Somebody spoke and he went into a scream.
In a Beatles world, that was Oregon. I went for a week and a half. It snowed, it mostly melted, it rained freezing rain, it iced and then snowed again. Paddy is adorable. We got to bond and hang out. He just started to smile alot and goo while blowing bubbles. It was hilarious. He was a very good guy and the padres are very happy with him. They are both just elated when they hold them. Paddy is lucky to have them.
Christina, Paddy and I went on a couple snowshoe adventures (oh and of course the dogs:), went on a couple walks. Mary, Christina, John and I went sledding, and Matt, Mary and the gang and I went on a hike. Snow does not stop these Oregon folks! Black ice does though. We had to push back our flight one day because nobody could drive anywhere around Portland. That gave a chance to build a killer ramp to sled off. Only minor bumps and bruises intailed and weren't even felt the next day. It was great.
That place is so full of life. Things are growing everywhere. There is so much room to move and explore. The earth is so rich which you can really feel there. It is a place to flourish and enjoy what this world has given us. Go go Oregon. I give Oregon two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Pictures to follow.
